"Imparting Excellence in Technical Education using Latest Technology"

The establishment of the Advanced Technical Training Centre (ATTC) is one of the major initiative that is taken by the Government of Sikkim for the development of technical education in the State. This polytechnic has been set up under the World Bank assisted “Third Technician Education Project” of the Government of India.

The State Government envisages the polytechnic to be model institute with the latest technology and facilities as “Centre of Excellence”. The establishment of this polytechnic is designed to address the need for employable skills to be imbibed among the youth of the State. This will address the major constraint for development in the State as also for seeking potential employment outside the State.

The curriculum offered by this polytechnic has been framed by Nettur Technical Training Foundation (NTTF) Bangalore, which is a very well known and highly regarded entity which operates a large number of similar training centers primarily in South India. NTTF Training Centers have been awarded ISO 9001:2000 Quality Systems Certification by Bureau Veritas Quality International (BVQI). The Diplomas and the Post Diplomas issued by NTTF are highly valued by major industries within the country and even abroad. The Diplomas issued by ATTC will be jointly certified by the Board of Technical Education, Sikkim and NTTF. On completion of their courses, the students are also assured of getting placement in industries of repute within the country. About Us
