Guidelines & Procedures
- Admission is open to both boys and girls.
- Candidates will be selected for admission on merit on the basis of a competitive written test followed by interview.
- Eligibility Conditions: The candidate should have passed Class X or equivalent from a recognized Board, i.e. 10-year study course, having minimum 45% marks in Mathematics and Science (40% in the case of SC/ST/OBC candidates)
- Candidate should not be less than 15 years and not more than 19 years of age as on 15 th August 2006.
- Reservation of seats will be as per the norms as follows:-

- All eligible candidates will have to appear for a Common Entrance Test of 3 hour duration comprising of English, Mathematics, Science, Aptitude and General Knowledge of Class X standard.
- The entrance test will be held on 25th June2006 at the centre mentioned in the Admit Card. Strict timings for conduct of the test will be observed.
- Candidates must bring their own stationery for the test. Only Question and Answer sheets will be provided by the Institute.
- Merit lists for selected and wait-listed candidates for all categories will be displayed on the Notice Board in the Office of the Directorate of Technical Education at Gangtok and ATTC, Bardang on 3rd July 2006 . Individual intimate on will not be sent and the candidates are required to contact these offices to find out if they have been selected for admission. The list will also be available on the Institute website.
- It may be noted that if it comes to the notice of the Institute that a candidate does not fulfill any of the requisite prescribed in eligibility conditions, his/her candidature may be rejected irrespective of his name appearing in the list of successful/wait-listed candidates or even after he/she has been admitted.
Registration
Selected candidates are required to report to the Principal, ATTC/CCCT Polytechnic, Bardang, East Sikkim along with the Admit Card & the original certificates for registration within 5 days of the declaration of the result. Any candidate who fails to do so will have his name struck off the list and the vacant seat will be offered to the next eligible candidates from the waiting list. Candidates whose name appear in waiting list are also advised to contact the Principal to find out if they have been selected for admission. The list will also be available on the Institute’s website
