Cisco Networking Academy Partner |
ATTC is Cisco Networking Academy Partner. Cisco Networking Academy helps students develop valuable information and communication technology to increase access to opportunities for career advancement, education, and economic participation in communities around the world. |
Computing Facilities |
Computing Service provides a wide variety of facilities for academic and administrative use throughout the Institute. The service supports an integrated network across all sites with Wifi connectivity.
More than 100 networked PCs are available for student use. These computers give access to a comprehensive range of latest software package like Linux, C, C++, Visual Studio, Photoshop, flash, Solid Works, Pro E, AutoCAD 2005, Master CAM and many more. The IT Resource Centers provide a mixture of teaching and Open Access areas. Users also have access to comprehensive documentation, ranging from simple introductory guides to detailed descriptions of languages and packages. |
| Internet Lab |
The Internet lab offers a comfortable, quiet research environment with a wide range of contemporary research sources in various media and the fullest access to the information sources located worldwide which enables the student to remain abreast of research and development in specific subjects areas. The Internet lab has high speed broadband connectivity. The Lab seats 20 students, one per computer, each with independent access to the Internet. |
| Library |
The ATTC Library is equipped with books, journals and research material catering to the needs of the students and faculty. There are about 7,000 and above books in the library. |
| Workshop Block |
Spread along the basement of the Institute is ATTC Workshop Block, equipped with the most
modern toolroom facilities. Students actually get the industrial production know how, when these student get trained by the expert faculty in the year span of their stay. |
| Welding facilities: |
Arc Welding, TIG and MIG welding, Plasma arc cutting, gas cutting machines etc are available. |
| Conventional Machines: |
Drilling Machine, Radial Drilling Machine, Lathe, Vertical and Horizontal Milling, Universal Milling,
Surface Grinder , Cylindrical Grinder, Tool and Cutter Grinder, Hydraulic Press, Heat Treatment Plant.. |
| Non- Conventional Machines |
CNC Vertical Milling (FANUC), CNC Lathe, CNC Wire cut, Spark erosion, CNC Turning Centre (SINUMERIC), CNC Injection Moulding Machines, CNC Milling Centre (ATC) (SINUMERIC), CMM (Coordinate Measuring Machine) |
| CAD-CAM Lab |
The CAD/CAM lab is equipped with stand-alone high-end Workstations wherein the students have exposure to the latest versions of CAD/CAM softwares like Solid Works, Pro E, AutoCAD, and Master CAM |
| CIM lab |
Students here are also exposed to the latest technologies like Computer Integrated Manufacturing (CIM). This lab has 6 axis Pick and Place Cartesian type robots, Machine vision control (Quality check), FMS, CNC Machining Centre, Instrumentation Sensor kit, PLC application Pneumatic and Hydraulic kit, Mobile robots etc. |
| PLC lab |
The Programmable Logic Control (PLC) Lab utilizes logic input fed by a program to control various
outputs like conveyors, motors, etc. to enable automation. It also utilizes inputs such as various
types of sensors, relays, capacitive and inductive inputs to control real time applications i.e., bottle
filling stations, stamping machines, traffic light systems, etc. The PLCs available in the lab are of
Allen Bradley, Siemens, ABB, GE Fanuc; each with their own programming software. Also available
are Instrumentation Trainer Kits, Process Control Trainer kits for Flow Control, Pressure Control, Level
Control, PID Control; a programmable Robotic arm for pick and place operations. |
| Pneumatic and Hydraulics Lab |
Students work on trainer kits of famed manufacturers like Festo Didactics and are trained on softwares like the P-Simulator, H-Simulator etc. |
| Other Lab Facilities |
The Institute is also equipped with other labs like Electrical, Digital and Electronics, Power Electronics and Microprocessor and Microcontroller. A special LRU C (Learning Resource Utilization
Centre) has also been established to impart knowledge using latest technologies such as LCD (DLP) projectors, Smart Board, Plasma TV, over head projectors using several course related CBTs , DVDs,
VCDs and Transperencies. Teaching at ATTC is highly practical and focused on what the industry needs as it is evolved through constant interaction with leading professionals who are a part of the Industry and Academic Advisory Boards. |
